Trying Again

Well, as may be guessed from my lack of blogs, I fell off the diet wagon some time ago.  The annoying thing was, it wasn't for lack of will, but lack of everything else, and as a result I have regained all but 1.4kg of the weight I lost since last spring.

So, I'm trying again.  My GP signed me up to an NHS weight loss/active body/group support thingy  which should have been starting tomorrow but has been postponed due to lack of interest.  Surprisingly for me, I was quite looking forward to it, despite the issues there would have been with getting there, so getting that call a few days ago was a bit of a downer.

But, this weight still needs to go, so I'm doing it on my own again.

Slimfast has been on board for a week now, I'm making smoothies again and using side plates for dinner.  Two new additions are that I'm attempting some exercise at home with a resistance band (all I can say to that so far is ouch), and am using Tesco's calorie counter and food tracker.  I'm on day three of that, and I'm finding it quite useful to have numbers up there so I can truly gauge how I'm doing.  It'll also track my weight and measurements on graphs for me too.


I'm also going to dig out the pedometer I bought last spring, and the kids have said they'd like to give the Wii Fit another go too.
